| The following is a brief synopsis of the background of each partner.
Howard K. Pollack, Esq., the managing partner has been practicing law for over twenty years. Since he graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1985, he has maintained a strong private practice in real estate law thoughout his career. He is admitted in the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. While his primary strength is residential real estate law, both transactional and litigation, he has a major emphasis on foreclosure law, bankruptcy, contracts, corporate issues and residential mortgage lending. Mr. Pollack is well versed in all aspects of real estate sales as well. He also handles the sale of small businesses and personal injury actions, and has experience in a variety of recent and contemporary issues affecting real estate transactions.
Cindy B. Cooperman, Esq. is also a graduate of Brooklyn Law School, and has been practicing law for more than twenty years. She is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey, as well as the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. Her primary practice is in all aspects of landlord/tenant work, both in the residential and commercial sectors. Her experience and strength as a litigator over the years has made her extremely well-versed in all types of leasing issues and the negotiation thereof. She has spent many years on important legal issues involving rent regulations of all kinds, and has litigated in all areas from housing issues to violations problems to fair housing problems. She has an excellent rapport and years of experience with most all landlord/tenant Courts in New York State, with a special emphasis on those courts located in and around the boroughs of the City of New York.
Charles J. Fisher, Esq. accomplished his undergraduate work at the University of Notre Dame, and graduated from Fordham University School of Law in 1995. He also is alum of Chaminade High School. After serving as corporate counsel with Metropolitan Life and moving on to clerk for Chief United States Bankruptcy Judge Melanie L. Cyganowski in the Eastern District of New York, he spent two years as an associate with the Wall Street firm of Herzfeld & Rubin, P.C. where, among other things, he helped develop the firm’s first foreclosure department. His primary practice now includes residential lending, transactional real estate law, real estate foreclosures, bankruptcy and contract negotiation.
